Continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park for classic game drives and a magical Kazinga Channel cruise before heading to the famous Ishasha sector, home of the legendary tree-climbing lions. Unwind on the serene shores of Lake Bunyonyi, then wrap up your adventure with close encounters with zebras, elands, and impalas in the charminglandscapes of Lake Mburo. Departure

After breakfast, you will be driven to Kigali International Airport for your flight home. As your journey comes to an end, you carry with you your special memories, new connections, and beautiful photos to look back on. This marks the end of your holiday.

Safari Sights and Nile Adventures

Early morning, your guide will take you for a wildlife safari game drive on the northern bank of the river Nile. Here, you will spot Elephants, Lions, Cape buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffe, hartebeest, Waterbuck, Oribi, Bushbuck, Bohor reedbuck, hyena, and if you are lucky, the leopard. This will mark the end of your holiday

You will return to your lodge for breakfast, rest and have lunch before heading out for the afternoon boat cruise. The boat cruise takes you upstream on the calm Victoria Nile to the base of the falls stopping just a few meters from the “Devil’s Cauldron”.

While on the boat cruise, you will have a chance to marvel at the hippos floating in the water, and crocodiles as well as elephants, waterbuck, Uganda Kob and many other animals over this 19 km stretch of the Nile.

For bird-watching enthusiasts there are many chances of seeing bird species like the Goliath heron, Egyptian goose, Brown pelican, Red-throated bee-eater, various kingfishers, Fish eagles, cormorant, and the rare shoebill stork. After the boat cruise, you will return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, you will take a scenic long-distance drive from Murchison Falls to Queen Elizabeth National Park, giving you a chance to enjoy Uganda’s changing landscapes at a relaxed pace. Along the way, you’ll make planned stopovers for leg-stretching, photography, equator, and a comfortable lunch. These stops not only break up the journey but also allow you to take in the beauty of rural Uganda, rolling hills, roadside markets, and open countryside. By late afternoon, you’ll arrive at Queen Elizabeth National Park. Settle into the lodge, relax and enjoy dinner.

Wildlife Safari in Queen Elizabeth NP

After breakfast, you will go for an early morning wildlife safari game drive in this park. Queen Elizabeth National Park’s diverse ecosystem of grassy plains, tropical forests, rivers, swamps, lakes, and volcanic craters is home to an incredible abundance of wildlife. With the massive Rwenzori Mountains as a backdrop, you will have excellent opportunities to see lions, leopards, giant forest hogs, cape buffalos, elephants, defassa waterbuck, Uganda Kobs, Topi, and bushbuck.After lunch, you will go for a 2–3-hour boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. This take will take you through possibly the highest concentration of hippos. Many animals may be seen drinking at the water’s edge. This launch cruise offers great opportunities for photography, bird watching, and game viewing. The prolific bird life is colorful and stupendous with more than 600 different species.

Drive to Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park

After your breakfast, you will go south to Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Ishasha is well known for its tree-climbing lions which like to take their daily rest up in the trees. While sightings are not guaranteed, the search itself is thrilling. Your drive through the park will present more wildlife viewing opportunities and you will reach the lodge in time for lunch.

You will later go for an evening game drive in search for the tree-climbing lions as well as other animals such as elephants, buffalos, antelopes and more.

Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After your morning in the wild plains of Ishasha, you’ll take a scenic transfer to the tranquil highlands of Lake Bunyonyi. The journey leads you through rolling hills, lush countryside, and charming local communities before descending to one of Africa’s most beautiful lakes. Upon arrival at your lodge, settle in and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. This is your time to rest, rejuvenate, and take in the calm beauty of Bunyonyi after days of adventure.

Drive to Lake Mburo

Your day begins with a peaceful morning boat ride on the calm waters of Lake Bunyonyi. After the boat experience, you’ll set off towards Lake Mburo National Park, driving through the scenic southwestern highlands.

You’ll stop in Mbarara for a relaxed lunch before continuing to Mburo for a game drive to spot zebras, impalas, elands, and other wildlife. After dinner, venture back into the park for a night game drive, an exciting opportunity to encounter nocturnal animals such as hyenas, leopard (if lucky), and other creatures that only emerge after dark.

Drive to Entebbe

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the lodge before beginning your drive back to Entebbe. Along the way you will stop at the equator for lunch and a chance to take photos, and browse local crafts. Continue your journey to Entebbe.
